1. WHAT THIS POLICY COVERS

This policy explains what information mrkwebsols.com collects, why, and what we do with it. It covers this website only. It does not cover work carried out inside a client's own systems under a separate agreement.

2. INFORMATION YOU GIVE US

When you submit an enquiry form on this site we collect the name, email address, phone number, division of interest and message you enter. We also record which page the form was submitted from, so we know which service you were reading about.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, payment card details, national identity numbers, passwords or any other sensitive personal information through these forms.

3. INFORMATION COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY

This site does not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, tracking scripts or behavioural profiling of any kind. It does not set cookies and does not store anything in your browser.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, browser type and the pages requested. These are generated by the web server, not by us, and we use them only to investigate faults and abuse.

To protect our forms from automated spam, we record the IP address of each submission and how many submissions that address has made in the past hour. This is stored on our own server, is not shared with anyone, and is deleted automatically after one hour.

4. WHY WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

To reply to your enquiry, to quote for work, to carry out work you have engaged us for, and to keep our own records of who we have spoken to. We do not use it for anything else.

5. HOW WE STORE IT

Enquiry submissions are emailed to us and written to a log file on our server that is not publicly accessible. Access is limited to Khurram Anwar and anyone at MRK Solutions who needs it to respond to you.

6. WHO WE SHARE IT WITH

We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

We share it only where it is necessary to run the business:

If a project requires us to pass your information to any other party, we will tell you first and ask.

7. HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

Enquiries that do not become projects are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted. Records relating to work we have carried out are kept for as long as we need them for accounting and reference purposes.

8. YOUR CHOICES

Email info@mrkwebsols.com and we will, within 30 days:

If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, you may also have rights under the UK GDPR or EU GDPR, including the right to object to processing and the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

9. CHILDREN

This site is aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, email us and we will delete it.

10. LINKS TO OTHER SITES

Our portfolio links to websites we have built for clients. Those sites are operated by their owners and have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for them.

11. SECURITY

This site is served over HTTPS. We restrict access to enquiry data to people who need it. No website can be guaranteed completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise.

12. CHANGES

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes affecting how we use information already collected will be notified by email where we hold an address for you.
